I found this beautiful RYC Baby Alpaca Yarn pictured above
safely wrapped and tucked away at the back of my cabinet
and thought it would make a lovely autumnal giveaway.
This is one of my all time favourite yarns
and it would be suitable to make any of the MJT characters
(I think there may be a lovely teddy bear in there somewhere!)

Hi Susan, having just returned from a trip to the UK it certainly felt like Autumn was in the air. Looking forward to woodland walks kicking through the leaves! I was planning on starting to knit your lovely teddy bear pattern when I was there, but time flew by. I am yet to get the wool, this alpaca would be so gorgeous so yes please add me to your giveaway (also a follower). I loved your post too about covered buttons, I have tried that with a kit to make them by hand but find it really hard to push them down enough, do you use a little machine for it? Looking forward to seeing your daughter's cushion, the colours look lovely. Catherine x
ReplyDeleteHello Catherine,
ReplyDeleteI hope you enjoyed your trip back to the U.K!
I use a button maker to make my buttons (I have added a link to the shop where I purchased mine,if you click on 'button maker' in the post you will find it at the bottom of the relevant page)I also find the metal cover buttons much easier to work with,
