I love my dpns and these are a lovely new addition to my knitting bag...KnitPro Nova...
...sitting untried in my cupboard for quite some time but now a firm favourite...

...places to store tiny doll buttons...my mini Bonne Maman jam jars are perfect!
(I used to keep them separated in the tallboy drawers of the dolls' house but was forever spilling them)

...and after much deliberation on how best to block my cowl ...
my favourite steaming method worked beautifully as I wanted to keep the lovely texture of the
cables and the neatness of the seed stitch edging but open out the central lace pattern more
..maintain the lovely soft plumpness of the yarn ♥
(I love the sculpted quality of small rope cables)

Thank you Frances..the vintage Bakelite holders are lovely and were made in quite a few different colours too (they also have a needle gauge underneath which is really handy...I must take a pic)...xx

Don't knit pro just make the loveliest needles. I have rather a large collection of Bon Maman jars, mostly the large ones but they are perfect for collecting things in!

Such a lovely pink wool holder too - don't you think collecting them is so addictive?!!

DeleteI just adore the beehive yarn holder! It's absolutely adorable...and PINK! I was recently gifted a mini jam jar, now I am in a quandary as to whether to keep the jam in the jar so it looks cute OR empty it out for my buttons! Megan x
