November Favourites ....

Favourite things this month...

Yarn winding for a new project
(it's lucky that I do enjoy this as I spend many hours doing it!)

Favourite little Putford Scissors
(I finally found them in black!)

A lovely new self - patterning Sock Yarn by West Yorkshire Spinners
'Fairy Lights'
❤️

...used to make this little bear jacket yesterday afternoon...
(love when it's time for the fairy lights in the workroom)

My most favourite magazines...
I always look forward to these arrivals
(although I have lots of favourites πŸ™ƒ)

This was my progress last week on my
'Treysta Sweater'
...just a ribbed cuff to complete now and I'm really looking
forward to seeing this blocked
(pattern by Jennifer Steingass and you can find all the pattern details here)
Amazingly quick to knit using Γstex LΓ©ttlopi of which I'm now a definite fan x
(and it's going with me on our Christmas trip along with my shawl and mittens
which also still need to be blocked...I think a whole 'blocking week' is needed! πŸŽ„)

Most favourite cook
(along with Nigel of course)

An afternoon with lovely Nigella and the best company

❤️

Finally,
...joining in with Etsy Cyber Sale Week..
If you would like to knit a festive 'Sock Yarn Bear Jacket'
like the one shown above or a little 'Tearoom Bear' as below..

There's 20% discount on both patterns on
ETSY and Ravelry
23rd - 26th November 2018
(ends midnight GMT - no code required)

('Tearoom Bears' are available working both 'in the round' or 'back and forth'

❤️

Thank you everyone
who has taken the time to leave lovely comments and
reviews about the new patterns which is very much appreciated
(and it's been lovely to catch up with everybody too x)

❤️

A very busy 2 weeks has been had...in fact I would say the busiest ever...
...and I decided a rest would be following...
but already... there's a new head on my table!

Back soon

  1. Oh, that sweater, Susan! It has a cinnamon or gingerbread look to it that I just love! I can see that on a redhead! May the holidays bring you rest and inspiration as well!

  4. Susan, that sweater is absolutely beautiful! I can picture wearing it while meeting a friend for tea of coffee. You are so talented! And, of course, I love your dolls and bears and their delightful clothing. I haven't been able to comment here with my wordpress blog, so I'm going to try with google account. Looking forward to more of your creative beauties.

    Blessings,
    Marianne

    1. Hi Teresa..I don't think they would look their best worn together...there would be a fair bit of clashing going on πŸ˜‚ but I'll definitely show you the finished articles (separately!)...Happy weekend to you and hope it's not too cold in your corner πŸ’—πŸ’•

  8. I love the sweater! You're so skilful! I love the pattern and the colors.

Yesterday I crocheted for the first time in my life, so I started to appreciate more the clothes or any other things knitted/crocheted.

    Have a wonderful weekend!
