They also contain lots of photographs to help you complete your project.
Detailed information is provided about all original yarns used
and amounts required should you need or wish to to substitute yarns.
Standard DK yarn or Worsted weight is used for the bodies
4ply/Dk or Worsted weight is used for clothing depending on the pattern choice.

Patterns are worked 'back and forth' using 2 single pointed knitting needles
or 'in the round' using dpns/circular needles according to the information in individual listings

Some of the patterns include simple colourwork techniques in the form of intarsia, fair isle or duplicate stitch.
In this case, colour charts are included which are designed to be easy to follow and
complete successfully, although you will need to have a basic understanding
of reading a chart.
